Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the United States. He gained fame due to his role in Road Trip he has since played in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 television shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. Within two years the cancer is now into Remission. But, early treatment had severe effects on his health, and slowed development. After he began taking on the role of an actor, financial security was his aim. He was a victim of the poverty of his youth. The interviewer said that because he had lived so sparingly over a period of time I required security in my finances to feel secure and in control. The man also talks about his youth to inspire him. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. His ideal role in film and in life is the father. He isn't chosen by the director to fill these roles, but he does say. He'd love to become father one day so he can devote more time to his son and not be so occupied with his work.
